"I Not Working."

When Mommy picked me up from the sitter's, Auntie Susie's, I told her, "Mommy working."  But she told me she wasn't working right now.  That's why she picked me up.  Then I said, "Daddy working.  Nana working.  Pop working."  She told me, yup, they're probably all working.  Finally I said, "I not working."  Mommy just laughed.

I spent the late afternoon at Nana's and Pop's, since Mom and Dad had a meeting to go to.  When I got to their house, Pop was busy weedwacking the yard.  I "helped" him out by reaching into his nice big pile in the big red bucket and throwing it all over the yard.  It was so soft, and it was fun watching bits of grass fly away in the breeze.  But, everyone kept telling me not to do it.

So, of course I just laughed and did it some more.  I even tried raking it up with Pop's big rake and my little rake.  But, it was so much more fun just grabbing the grass cuttings with your hands and throwing it all over the place.  I was a really big "help".  After all, "I not working."
