This has pretty much been the theme over the past six months or so...
Chase won't let us throw out any boxes. He plays in them, reads in them, and even sleeps in them...(Chris brought this HUGE computer box home from work (with all the stuffing as well, which the boys have been having fun with too.))
I think our next book buy is going to be
Not A Box by Antoinette Portis. Stay tuned for a future blog post on
Not A Stick. We have lots of those in our cars and purses and home as well. Who needs toys when you can be so creative with boxes and sticks?!
And as for Zack, he tries to put any type of bucket on his head.
Buckets are nice for going out hats, dinner-time hats...(at one store, the salesperson even gave Zack a sticker to put on his "hat").
And even going out to eat frozen yogurt hats....
The boys got spoiled into going to Yogurtland after Chase's swimming lessons. Now, whenever we pass by the store, Zack signs "ice cream" and yells, "ICE!"
At least we're saving money on toys and hats because our boys love boxes and buckets!
