Building Towers

What do you do with all those rolls of Costco toilet paper that you can't fit into the cabinets?

Build towers...and then knock them down! They're soft and don't make a loud bang on the hardwood floors!

Hanging Out with the Cousins From Cali

Picked up the Nakashima's from the airport as they returned from their short trip to Kaua'i, and we headed straight to Palolo Bon Dance for some food and Shimazu shaved ice! Yum!

Here are cousin Courtney (senior in high school) and Kyle (sophomore at ASU) enjoying their shaved ice!
We also visited the Saturday Farmer's Market. Check out the dragon fruit and avocado!
I didn't try these, but it looks good!

Pretty hibiscus flowers
The Nakashima's had to get chichidango before the airport ride back to Cali! Thanks for the box!

Check out these exotic flavored popsicles!
We went out to dinner with everyone at Side Street Inn in Kapahulu.

And, here's cousins Tricia and Michelle...we decided to get Leonard's malasadas for dessert! (our second dessert)

Here we are enjoying snow ice...it really is the consistency of snow!
And here's Chase playing with Brandon as we had dinner with the Pangs & Matsumotos.

Beach BBQ

We hung out at the beach all day today for a summer beach bbq with Uncle Jay and Auntie Shelly and their friends. I had fun playing in the water with Dad. Mom and Zack hung out with the other mommies and babies and tried to prevent Zack from eating the grass. I loved jumping off the rocks in the park. Did we tell you that Uncle Jay and Auntie Shelly are expecting a baby boy in January?! Our first cousin...and it's another boy! We're so excited!

Dinner Time!

Zack loves to eat food! At almost 11 months of age, Zack eats just about anything...even more than big brother Chase! When you are eating, he wants to eat. He'll fuss until you give him food. He eats meat, salad, fruits, bread, pasta, etc. (and we're not talking baby food, but adult food!). With only 5 teeth (two on the bottom and three on top), he does pretty good. And, he's really into champagne grapes. He double fists them and I can't keep up, as he pops them into his mouth...eating about 20 in a minute!
